A lawn that has been left long, cut back and cleared.
When this is the job
A lawn that has been left through a few cuts, or a whole season, is not a one-time cut. Grass over 25 cm has to come down in stages, the clippings have to be lifted rather than left, and what is underneath is not visible until we start.
That makes the time unpredictable, so it is quoted as a job rather than charged at the one-time rate.
What we do
- Cut back in stages so the lawn is not scalped
- Lift and bag the clippings, which are too heavy to leave on the grass
- Trim the edges, beds and around anything the grass has grown over
- Blow the walks, driveway and street clear
How it is priced
Send a photograph with your address and we will quote from it. If the lawn is hiding anything we need to see first, we come and look before quoting.
Clippings go into your green bin and into paper yard waste bags left at the curb for city collection. A lawn this long usually fills more than one collection takes, and we tell you that before we start.
Afterwards
Once it is back under control it can go onto the season at the usual price, or take one-time cuts when a day in your area has room.
